Hi,

We got to Florianopolis about 5 days ago now..and we´re still here! We´re staying in a nice backpackers place overlooking the beach in a small town on the island. We´ve met loads of nice people here and the hostel put on bbqs and parties every night so we´re having a great time! We booked our bus to go to Sao Paulo tomorrow night and then after that I think we´ll hunt out some more beahces to lay on before our final stop in Rio!! Not long left now!

Just got back from our trip to the glacier. Had an hour boat ride which took us right up to the ice face and then we walked along some boardwalks nearby to get some good photos. Because the glacier is advancing you can watch massive chunks of ice falling off it into the lake! It was really cool but too quick to get any pictures of!
